Article in GEN Features Dr. Soper’s Work on Microfluidic Device

An article featuring Dr. Steven Soper’s work on creating a microfluidic device that would capture cell-free DNA, exosomes, and circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from liquid biopsy of cancer patients was recently published in Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN). The article titled, “Teasing Out Circulating Tumor DNA” appeared on the front page of the February 1, 2018 magazine. Also highlighted in the article is the Soper team’s work on CTC isolation using microfluidics and the molecular analysis of their genomic DNA.
